About Us

Boot Hill Trading Co. is the real world foundation of the town of Boot Hill.

What started as a shared obsession with good coffee, well made goods, and storytelling turned into a place. A town built on ritual, craft, and character. Boot Hill is where coffee meets lore, where everyday objects carry a little weight, and where imagination is treated like something worth protecting.

Boot Hill is owned and operated by Adam, Casey, and Rob. We work side by side to build this town piece by piece, roasting coffee, designing products, and expanding the world behind it all. At the heart of it is the need to make things by hand. Small batch, carefully crafted, and built with intention. Goods made the way they should be, carrying the kind of quality that lasts and the quiet weight of work done right. We believe everyone has a ritual, and our goal is simple. To make yours better. Slower. More intentional. Something you look forward to every day.

From there, the town grew.

Boot Hill Coffee is our roastery, where we roast small batch coffee meticulously, taking the time to listen, adjust, and honor what each bean has to offer.

Boot Hill Apothecary brings grooming goods and candles crafted with the same care and intention, with salves and ointments coming soon.

The Boot Hill General Store is where it all comes together. Mugs, clothing, and other such goods meant to be used, worn, and lived in, not shelved.

The High Noon Tribune is Boot Hill’s paper, telling the stories, fables, and lore of the town we are building.

Boot Hill is fiction in its stories, but very real in its hands. Every product is touched, tested, debated, and refined by us. The town may be imagined, but the work is not.

And none of it happens alone.

We are incredibly grateful to our wives, kids, and dogs for supporting this obsession. For the long meetings, late night roasting sessions, and endless creative conversations. For helping when asked, listening when we ramble, and believing in something that started as an idea and became a place.

Boot Hill is our town.

And if you are here, even just for a cup of coffee, you are part of it too.

Meet The Team

Adam

I was born and raised in the Minneapolis area in Minnesota and relocated to Tucson, AZ in 2002.  My first memory of coffee was when I was kid and on a road trip with my dad.  There was definitely more cream and sugar than coffee in that cup, but the memory of drinking coffee with my dad has stayed with me.  I reintroduced myself to coffee during medical school to get through long nights of studying.  I took it strong and black then, and remains my favorite way to drink coffee so I can try to appreciate the nuances in different beans and brewing techniques.  Coffee is a big part of my day and I love the morning ritual of brewing a cup, spending time with the dogs and my kids before leaving for work.

Casey

Well, folks, gather 'round let me tell you about the one of the gents behind this here operation. Our esteemed proprietor is a true son of Tucson, where he’s made a life as rich and layered as this town’s dark secrets. He’s not just a fixture in Boot Hill; he's a proud husband to a lovely lady, a doting father to two fine young'uns, and the proud owner of a golden doodle who’s got more charm than a rattlesnake has venom.
Now, he may have ventured far from these dusty trails, but it was only to serve his country as a Marine. After that noble stint, he returned to his roots a proud vet, hitting the books once more to earn a bachelor's degree in microbiology and PharmD from the University of Arizona. But no matter where he roams, Tucson has always called him back, and now, he’s firmly planted here, raising his family.

Rob

In the curious corners of Tucson, Az, there’s Rob. A man with a story that winds through the halls of Aerospace and Defense since 1985. He emerged from the University of Missouri Columbia, armed with degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering, ready to carve his path.

Rob’s journey led him to the USAF, where he spent six intense years at Edwards AFB, working within the shadows of the Special Operations Combined Test Force. His mission: system integration and flight test operations. As a Captain, he parted ways with the USAF, only to find himself continuing his work at the Naval Weapons Center at China Lake.

In 1997, the winds of fate swept Rob from the stark Mojave Desert to the vibrant Sonoran Desert of Tucson, AZ. For 27 years, he became a familiar face at Raytheon, mastering missile integration and flight test operations.

Amidst the grind of technology and defense, Rob’s heart found solace in a different pursuit—coffee. What began as a necessity in his military days blossomed into a full-blown passion.  Rob stands as one of the three visionaries behind Boot Hill Trading Co., pouring his fervor for coffee into every endeavor.
